The Fragrance of Forgivness
Here is what I have collected from the early morning dew saturated fields of His presence today for us to ponder on….
“Forgiveness is the fragrance of the flower that clings to the heel that crushed it.”
The Messiah Jesus displayed this for us…we need to continue to display this character to one another and those in this world. To be His friends we must do what He commands us…and His commandment is for us to lay down our life for one another, love one another and release the very precious aroma of forgiveness. Our Commander and Chief of the armies of heaven said in the last days would not just be wars, famines, earthquakes…but also a very heightened activity of lawlessness and betrayal. Offenses among “church folks” would increase exponentially and betrayal would be so bad that the love (Greek=agape) would grow cold! It is happening now! Your response to will determine your destiny!
The ability to move mountains and walk a windward Spiritual existence by faith will be hindered if we hold ought against someone! We all have may have no problem believing with God all things are impossible…. we may also be working continually to maintain the right confession of faith in the midst of contrary circumstances…but what we need to focus on even more is our love walk and blessing those who are that heel that crushes us!
Mountains will not move…demons will not come out…if we hold ought against someone! So let’s get are faith serviced this morning to forgive and release the fragrance of love to those who have crushed, wounded, and betrayed us! We must remember that the enemy’s portal into our lives is when there is unforgiveness, strife, jealousy, and anger…so do not be robbed of your blessing in this late hour! (Scripture references to glean from later on your lunch hour- John15:12-16; Mark 11:22-26; Matthew 24: 7-12; James 3:13-18; Ephesians 4:24- 27). We are in war now…and it is a war of attrition…so be very alert to the minefields (offenses) around us…the enemy knows his time is short!
In His fragrance of love and forgiveness,
Scott
