EARLY MORNING MANNA

(Good Morning Everybody. Early this morning I could not sleep. There is such a fire of warning burning inside of me to see His glory sweep afresh through His Church. In 1992 My wife Dalit had a dream of both of the World Trade Centers come crashing down close to where we lived in NYC. When she awoke and wrote the night vision down…we did not know what to do with it. Most of the “spiritual” mentors in our life were more interested in the NFL than encouraging us to go to the World Trade Center Plaza and do radical street preaching. Recently, she has had another series of dreams that is even more terrifying what is coming upon America. Thus, I have made a vow not to be quiet this time and miss what the Spirit is telling us to warn the people. The following exhortation you are about to read is the way to prepare yourself now and not be caught flat -footed. It is time to be sober and vigilant because much of the current popular prophetic movement has become really the pathetic movement and I believe the key is found below…. May you find His highway of true holiness amidst all the tensile of pop culture churchianity.)

The Epidemic of Prophetic Presumption Due to Entertainment

In our latest book, THE MYSTERY OF LAWLESSNESS, the Holy Spirit had me emphasis the final warnings of Jesus concerning the end of this age and that there would be a rapid increase of lawlessness and iniquity. He warns that false prophecy, false prophets, offenses and the agape love in believers waxing cold would be the key determining factor that the end of the age is near… more than earthquakes, famines, and war.

As we all have seen the extinguishing of the agape love of God in many believers (especially leaders) in the last few years….I have been praying how can we help rescue these brothers and sisters from this tragic falling away from their first love! Recently in one of our prayer meeting here in Atlanta, GA., the Holy Spirit revealed to me one of the key tactics of the enemy in which uses to initiate the I.V. of lukewarmness into the soul of unsuspecting believers.

In our wide scope of travels and holding revival meetings in the thick cloud of His glory this last decade…I have noticed that those who do not like the bright exposing light of His presence/Word have two main symptoms that repeatedly appear.

1) A deep and dogmatic stubbornness to only want to hear about the “grace and goodness” of God. All other messages that emphasis sanctification, separation, and purity is rejected as being religious, legalistic, condemning, and part of the “holiness” movement.

2) A unbridled lifestyle of viewing and enjoying inordinate amounts of TV, Satellite, Cable, Internet, and movies.

As the Holy Spirit has been helping me connect the dots and bring into focus what I now believe is a major epidemic in the Body of Messiah, I have come to some startling conclusions. The believers and leaders who exhibit the two main symptoms listed above also uncannily gravitate towards the prophetic movements that emphasizes extra-Biblical phenomena and intercession/prophetic events. I’m not saying that signs/wonders and intercession is wrong…but there is now more emphasis being placed on those experiences than on the written Word of God in these circles!

How has the enemy secretly gained access into these precious people who want to serve God?

I have found the answer and let me share it with you dear friends! In the sermon on the Mount, Jesus quotes from Deuteronomy 18 in Matthew 5:48, “You shall be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect.” The idea of perfect here is not perfection but rather the idea of being mature and blameless. Now the context of the above text is found in Deuteronomy 18 and if you will sit down and read the whole chapter you will notice God is instructing His people how to be blameless and perfect like He is….and it is in the immediate context of having nothing to do with the occult, spiritism, witchcraft (or you could say today magic, wizards, science fiction…). And if you read on you will notice that this chapter concludes with a instruction of how to test and differentiate between true and presumptuous prophets.

And therein lies our answer!!! When a believer spends inordinate amounts of time viewing questionable “entertainment” that has the leaven of the occult (no matter how small it may seem) he or she begins the process of dilution and deception that brings spiritual and prophetic presumption!!!! (God warned us not to have anything to do with this fallen realm and it is not a suggestion but a imperative command of warning!!!) These people I can always identify very quickly now…they are the ones who spend time viewing questionable or even “christianized themes” in movies and then they subsequently always refer to how “the spirit spoke to him/her” while they were viewing this certain movie or program! What kind of spirit is that? This is exactly how many good believers and ministries have opened the door to be diluted/deceived by the spirit of this age!

According the Linguistic Key to The Greek New Testament commenting on the verse of II Timothy 2:26, the way the enemy attempts to catch us into his hidden snares is that he cunningly comes in with evil occult influences to-
1) numb our consciences
2) confuse our senses
3) and then paralyze our wills!

Is this not what happens if you spend too much time fellowshipping with the entertainments of our modern culture…it enters in and attains you!

I have more to discuss with you’all about this topic…but please hear what the Holy Spirit has already been saying to you in your conscience…the enemy is real and the occult powers are real, even if they come in the package of a fictional and entertaining movie or show! Once you compromise in this area and your conscience begins to interface with this deceptive spirit hidden in these inspiring and stimulating movies…you begin to get numbed and unknowingly begin the descent into a spiritual dilution that will emphasize the spiritual, mysticism, and the prophetic…rather than character, purity , and holiness. And woe to those leaders in the body of Messiah who do not properly divide between what is holy and profane in God’s eyes in this late hour for His sheep (see Ezekiel 22:26)!

Here is a good safety valve for developing Godly character concerning entertainment…”If what you are watching at home or a theatre on a Saturday night cannot be equally shown on the overhead screen in church Sunday morning during praise and worship without quenching the HOLY SPIRIT…then you have no business watching it Saturday night!”

This is not condemning legalism…but the first prerequisite for walking in the true prophetic accuracy and power that this world desperately needs to see!!! (I’m tired of seeing all these Sunday morning Power point presentations! They have no power so what is the point???)

If you harden your heart to this warning and willfully and stubbornly intend to keep your cable and satellite TV a main part of your weekly consumption…then be warned that you have already entered the first phase of rebellion prophesied by the Prophet Samuel as witchcraft (I Samuel 15:23)! What you have gotten away with in the outer court will destroy you in the Holy Place in this late hour! We are in the Days of Awe and God is judging His house right now!

I plead with you today…flee every appearance of evil! You are driving on a road to personal destruction! Wake up and get ahold of yourself! Don’t think that your continually grieving of the Holy Spirit is going to be forgiven repeatedly! There is none so blind as they that won’t see! Cancel your cable subscription and watch the purity enter back into your soul. Healing will come into your physical body and strife and criticism will leave your soul! True prosperity will be yours (shalom)! Break the strong man in your flesh right now by the anointing and light coming into your understanding by this prophetic exhortation! His Spirit is hovering around you now to assist you in this lifestyle change! Don’t delay by falling into the paralysis of analysis!!

To those who have EARS to hear..let them hear what the HOLY SPIRIT is saying to His Church in this hour!!!!
