EARLY MORNING MANNA

“For the report of your obedience has reached to all: therefore I am rejoicing over you, but I want you to be wise in what is good, and innocent in what is evil, and the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.” (Romans 16:19-20)

This morning I was studying the last two chapters of Paul’s letter to the believers in Rome and discovered a powerful weapon to defeat the attacks of the enemy in your life. It simply has to do with compulsive and sheer obedience!

In the first and last chapters of this powerful letter, Paul mentions his apostleship was for bringing the nations into obedience to the gospel that was birthed out of the prophetic literature of the Old Testament (Rom. 1:1-5; 16:25-27). It is the act of obedience in believing the gospel message and then living a lifestyle of being wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil…that the God of peace is able to crush Satan under your feet!

And this brings us to very important entry point of blessings….

Many of us do endeavor with all of our hearts to worship and obey God in our daily lives, yet still there is this nagging attack of the enemy that some of you cannot seem to shake free from. I’m not talking about persecution, character testings, and the things that God allows in our lives to shape our character. But rather the unseen wrestling with the shadows of evil like poverty, sickness, untimely deaths, marriage and family breakdown, depression, et cetera…. Is there then an area of disobedience in our lives that is still providing a entry point for the enemy? And what is the completed obedience that the believers in Rome had done to cause God to crush Satan under their feet in such a powerful way that it later brought down this evil empire!?

In Romans 15:19 -33, Paul discusses how the God of peace was going to be with them in a powerful way… and it has to do with offerings to help out the believers in Israel! Paul was on the revival circuit of preaching the full gospel message and strengthening the churches throughout the Roman empire but needed to be helped to complete a service of obedience to the Jewish believers in Israel and Jerusalem.

Look at Romans 15:24-27,”…for I hope to see you in passing, and to be helped on my way there by you, when I have first enjoyed your company for a while–but now, I am going to Jerusalem serving the saints. For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. Yes, they were pleased to do so, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.”

That’s it!!! The completed act of obedience these believers needed to do was help Paul in His service to Jerusalem believers!!! The word for “help” in verse 24 according to the Linguistic Key to the Greek New Testament is the act of “sending missionaries on their way involved providing food, money, washing clothes, and generally helping them to travel as comfortable as possible.” This word is also used in 3 John and verse 6 of sending workers on their way in a manner worthy of God! The completed act of obedience that crushes the enemy under your feet is supplying the needs of missionaries who are on their way to bless the Jewish people with spiritual and material blessings! And the devil does not want you to know this!!!!

I have been speaking to several ministries in the Land of Israel recently and what they are needing the most is a fresh wave of the move of the Holy Spirit with signs and wonders to arrest the attention of the secular and orthodox Israelis! They need the back of terrorism to be broken by a supernatural move of God and a financial supply to help build His kingdom of obedient disciples!!!! There is a window open right now among many secular Israelis…of which we have undisclosed operations we are ready to preform to help!!! We just can’t mention it in this electronic forum!!! It is time to help the believers in Israel!!!!

Let’s do it dear friends! We need some sheer acts of sacrificial obedience to get us into the Land of Israel in the days ahead! Currently all it would take is 300 people to give $1000 each and we are able to activate OPERATION IMMINENT TRUMPET (phase 2)!

May the God of Shalom crush Satan under your feet!
