The Secret to the Secret Place
The ultimate bungee jump to go after God and His promises is to rise up early in the blackness of the morning and wait silently before Him. This morning I had the overwhelming feeling of unseen angels all around the room and a tremendous excitement concerning the fulfillment of promises He has given us!
I wanted to encourage you’ all to make the effort to go after Abba with this same fire of desire based on Proverbs 8:17-21.
“I love those who love me; and those who diligently seek me will find me.
Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness.
My fruit is better than fine gold, even pure gold.
And my yield than choicest silver.
I walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice.
To endow those who love me with wealth, that I may fill their treasuries.”
The Hebrew word for diligently seeking God above is shahar. The King James Version translates this as early, which is also correct. To simplify everything…to diligently seek God is to get up early in the morning! In the blackness before the dawn! This is the “secret” to the Secret Place!
Go for it friends! May your hunger for Him overcome your desire for sleep! He will meet you there in that place of utter desire!!
