EARLY MORNING MANNA

Currently what we are hearing is the repeated 911 warning that the Church needs to wake up and become people of the Wind!

In I Cor 12:1, the Apostle Paul wrote “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware.”

What is interesting is that the word “gifts” is not in the original Greek text and also the word “spiritual” is actually the Greek word Pneumatikos. Upon further study I have discovered in one of my Greek Linguistic works, that several scholars have translated this as “someone who is exposed and directed by the wind of God”. Someone who is windward! That’s what it means to be spiritual!

In I Peter 2:5, we see the same Greek word used to describe that God is building not a physical house but a spiritual house of a royal priesthood of people to offer up spiritual sacrifices. What is unfolding to us is this…God is wanting a special people who are spiritually windward and spontaneously are guided by His breath and wind. That we all are being fitted together as a house of priests who worship in windward spontaneous spiritual songs (Ephesians 5:19) and not the “same ol same old” every Sunday morning! And this special race chosen by God is to be nourished by spiritual food and water (also pneumatikos) as is found in I Cor. 10:3-4. Anything short of this windward pattern is not the spiritual house that God is building (which is the rebuilding of the fallen Tabernacle of David) but rather is the carnal house that the people want which is the House of Saul! The people requested and asked God for a King whose very name in Hebrew means “to ask or request”! Yikes!!!

The time has arrived for you and I to be mature and spiritual living stones who understand the gentle whisper of His still presence and are able to pick up on the sound of the battle wind in the top of the mulberry trees (2 Samuel 5:24)! There is a new 911 wind in His House! And I believe that many of you are hearing this same thing!

The whole purpose of these emails is to help you become that special priesthood of people who know the windward ways of God and bring Him the ultimate pleasing sacrifice to His nostrils!!! With that being said, the Apostle Paul admonishes the church at Corinth, “If we sowed spiritual things (Pneumatikos) in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?”

And guess what the number sequence of that verse is… I Cor.9:11! Wow!
