EARLY MORNING MANNA

Shalom Friends and Gideon Warriors,

Last night our youngest daughter Ronit was asking me about her name and how did we come to choose it. I began to explain to her that it is a Hebrew name that means to rejoice and to be joyful. It also used in a different verb stem in ancient Hebrew to mean to shout and scream for joy or ear piercing jubilant sounds. Though translated in the KJV as “singing”, this word carries more of a high piercing sound of joy and celebration!

As I was explaining this to Ronit, I began to have flashbacks to the time she was born in the late 90’s when we were in the midst of screaming radical revival meetings and how the screaming shouts of joy would hit the audience so loud you’d think the building was about to come apart at the seams! Wow, those were some glorious days…. This supernatural manifestation is coming back so get ready!!!!

Then this morning I again and turned and noticed this powerful text that uses this same Hebrew word as is described above!

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy (Heb. ear piercing shouts of jubilation).” ( Zeph 3:17 NASB)

What is also interesting to note is that the above Hebrew word to” be quiet” is also translated in some ancient texts as to “renew you” and the New Jewish Publication version translates this word as to “soothe you in His love”!

So lets recap and move out into the deeper waters….

1) The two extremes of the atmospherics of the Throne Room environment of heaven is either screaming ear piercing shouts of joy and jubilation as a mighty warrior or the absolute stillness and quietness of His love soothing us…..!

2) This should be our emotional make-up as new creations in Messiah Jesus and the Blessed Holy Ghost who indwells us and quickens us to be His ambassadors in this fallen decaying system around us.

3) There is no in-between grounds here…either rapturous joy with thundering shouts or absolute stillness and renewal in His love!

May this view into the Throne Room atmospherics of the true oval office of heaven give you the faith to mirror that here on earth!
