I FEEL MUZZLED FROM DOING EXPLOITS FOR GOD!

I need to share something personal with you who have been receiving from this ministry and have been blessed by God. And it has to do with selfishness and the ancient concept of “you shall not muzzle the oxen while he is threshing” (2 Cor. 9:9).

In the ancient near East, the key to harvest time was the threshing floor. No matter how big and bountiful your harvest was, it was useless to you unless you brought it to the threshing floor. The grain and chaff had to be separated. To do this you had to find a man who knew intimately the winds of the region you lived. In Israel, the threshing floors were never built on a mountain top or in a canyon system, but rather in the calm side of the mountain. The reason being that depending on what time of day and area you where in…the extreme temperature conditions of the Israeli deserts on one side and the expansive Mediterranean Sea on the other side creates very strong windy conditions. With these very strong sudden wind shifts…your precious seed and harvest would be blown away. All that hard work gone!

The key therefore was to find a man who knew where and when to thresh your grain because he was a man who knew the winds and seasons!

The second key to benefit from your harvest was the oxen. These were well trained beast of field who could work hard all day but they had to be feed good and not put on minimum rations. To thresh your harvest grain was to shatter it with the threshing sled they pulled behind them. This heavy instrument was the key to the ancient Israelite agricultural society and was so prized that even at weddings the bride would ride to her wedding celebration on this platform as a sign of future prosperity (this is where we today get the concept of the Bride coming to her wedding in a limousine or luxury vehicle)!

The oxen also had to be anointed with a thick paste like substance of olive oil to keep the heavy yoke from breaking into their skin and shoulders. This is where we get the scripture in Isaiah 10:27, “the anointing (fatness) breaks the yoke.” We put a lot of emphasis on ministries that represent the three images of Jesus in Ezekiel’s vision of chapter one. The image of man, the image of a lion, and the image of an eagle…but what about emphasizing the face of the oxen in ministries today? Everybody wants to be like a spiritual eagle and fly but what about a spiritual oxen who sole purpose is to work and labor to thresh your seed? The primary purpose of the anointing is to work… not enjoy!

Now let’s pull all this together this morning….

1) The law that God laid down thru Moses about “not to muzzle the ox while he is threshing” (Deut. 25) is found in the seemingly out of place context of domestic disputes! Why? Because the root of all domestic disputes in households or business partners is about money or your harvest produce! Translated to the NT, if you muzzle the man of the winds from threshing your harvest you are going to have family problems!

2) Too many Christians sow their harvest seed to threshing floors that are not run by true ministries of the wind and their harvest is being swept away by the strong winds of man birthed doctrines (Ephesians 4:14). It is only the true ministers who know the winds of the Spirit you should be entrusting with your harvest seed. Not the carnal ones who operate with an anointing when they teach but are very slow to trust the winds of God! Beware of Spiritually shallow ministries in this hour that do not move out into the deep realms of God!!!

3) However, it still is not enough to sit under a ministry that flows with the winds of the Spirit but are lazy and do not work with the anointing given them. The purpose of the anointing on ministers is not just to lay around and feel good under His joy, but to work hard at teaching and preaching good solid doctrine not ear-tickling pep rallies (I Tim. 5:17-18). The labor is to get personally crushed and thus heavily pasted with the anointing to carry the yoke and pull the sled to shatter and thresh peoples hearts with a sharp Word that cuts to the heart of the hearers. My job is to thresh you the listeners with the threshing instruments to separate the wheat from the chaff in your lives…not to just fly around like some prophetic eagle or sit on a Kingly throne like a male lion and everybody serves that end! The bottom line is that we are coming to meetings to get threshed…not entertained! Why is so many believers in these last days running in fear from this process????

4) I Cor. 9:11 (interesting numbers…) says that “if we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we should reap material things from you?” If we have sowed windward and spiritual things in you what is wrong with receiving back material blessings from you? Another way to see this is…you work hard in your vocation and job and you bring in your offerings to the man of God to get not just uplifted with a feel good message…but you are actually giving to him to pull the threshing sled over your life and separate the chaff from the good! This is only done by the wind of the Sprit and not programs or reading Christian literature! You need a thresher in your life who knows where the gentle breeze is blowing (not the mountain top experiences with the strong gales) so you can get your harvest properly separated and thus your family can eat and prosper.

Now this brings me to an area I need to share my heart this morning. I first want to say a big THANK YOU to those friends and partners of this ministry that have helped us with their generous gifts over the years! You guys are such blessings and the best partners I have ever seen in all my 21 years of ministry! Your gifts are such a fragrant offering to God and I will always stand with you that Philippians chapter 4 is yours! Keep the wonderful testimonies of personal jubilee coming!

However, there is many of you who have received from this ministry and have benefited by our ability to hear what the windward new thing God is doing and thresh out for you a nourishing Word from God for your lives…but we are being muzzled by your lack of giving! God has gifted this ministry with a strong anointing to bring out a fresh scriptural word for you…but you have not shared with us your material blessings in a truly generous way(see I Cor. 9:7-14).

Just look at what this discerning sister wrote to me this morning about all of you guys who want/or have gone to Israel with us on our tours but have not thought about helping us with getting OPERATION IMMINENT TRUMPET fully financed….

She wrote,

I am not able to join your tour to Israel (Nov. 2005), but when you are able to tell about a overwhelming response for attending this tour, I do really wonder how people prioritize. I am thinking on the Gideon project you have. If all of these people would make themselves a Gideon warrior for the money rather than going for a holiday trip, I guess you would not come so short in the imminent project. I think it’s so sorry you are not able to get the money for the Operation Imminent Trumpet, and it becomes so evident that the money is available between the people. Why? Don’t they want to support the fighting of terrorism? Have we become cold at heart or too comforted with our prosperous lifes?

The current funds needed is $300,000 and all it takes is for you who believe in this ministry that we are out laboring on the cutting windward edge for His Kingdom, then come get behind us with your precious seed gifts no matter what the size…it will all add up when everybody does their part. Some people can give $100 a month and there are others here that can give $25,000 and more! Obey that gentle whisper in your heart to be generous!!! (We have personally sounded the shofar over some of your lives as you have requested in previous years for jubilee…and now that you have experienced increase why have you not been more generous with us reaping material blessings from you? The only place in the New Testament the Apostle Paul mentions revival has to do with believers being revived to financially support his ministry in Phil. 4:10. He had birthed many churches but sadly only the Philippian church kept revived to support his ministry!)

Remember…the war against terror is still ongoing and God has given this ministry the ability to defeat it in the gates. Now is the time to go for it!!!! We can win if we stay out of sin!!!

Where is all believers and leaders whom have loved our ministry and have received so powerfully a deposit from the Holy Spirit? And why are they so quiet when it comes to fighting terrorism! Radical Islamic terrorism is on the rise and where is the real warriors to fight it with the windward exploits of God???

I’m ready to give my life for this OPERATION….

It is time to rise up and get refocused army of God!!!
