EARLY MORNING MANNA

Shalom Fellow Warriors,

The glory meetings in California and Alberta, Canada the last two weeks were deep and powerful! Many reports of good fruit are coming forth and the shofar-drive-by’s that targeted key operational centers of the enemy have been neutralized! Much rejoicing is still going on from the many warriors who attended and partook of the Lord’s bountiful buffet table of teachings! Here is a some of that fresh manna and real-time prophetic reconnaissance for you to wage effective tactical warfare in your local theatres of operation.

In the book of James, we can see the main tactic of the enemy that has paralyzed and sidelined many warriors throughout the centuries is non other than the strong desire in our lower nature to wage the wrong war. James asks the question, “What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of this world makes himself an enemy of God.” (James 4:1-4 NASB)

Let me now break open this series of Scriptures to pinpoint exactly what context James is speaking from and what has thus veiled many due to the lack of understanding the Hebrew world view as is outlined in the OT Scriptures.

1) James actually begins by pointing the believers that are in the midst of enduring trials and temptations to ask God for wisdom (James 1:5). (Yet, what kind of wisdom?)

2) James also exhorts those who desire to be teachers…that they will incur a much stricter judgment because what they say will lead their hearers into either the wisdom from above or the wisdom from below (James 3:1; 13-18).

3) These two wisdoms are actually a direct reference to the two women in Proverbs chapters 7 and 8! One woman (wisdom of this world) is personified as an adulteress and the other woman (wisdom from above) is personified as the wise woman. In actuality, the proverbs of Solomon does not even begin until chapter 10 with the first nine chapters dealing exclusively with the warnings to the naive and simple young men not to listen to this evil adulteress woman who continually lurks to take down souls into her chambers of death and the underworld (James 5:5; 7:27).

4) In contrast to this evil adulteress woman, Solomon details that the wise woman is also standing at the gates of the city and is calling out to the young men to enter her house instead and learn true wisdom. This wisdom is then unveiled to be none other than the entrance into the glory realm before the world and time began! This invitation ends with the most prolific description of the pre-Genesis world and includes some of the most revolutionary concepts of joy and frolicking such as is ever seen in the Scriptures (Proverbs 8:30-31)!

5) Thus when James speaks of the two wisdoms he is actually making reference to the literary genre style of Hebrew wisdom literature and the example of the two women in Proverbs to help us see that being a friend of this world system is treacherous adultery and is the source of all evil and demonic activity!

Now let’s get our night vision sights re-calibrated here and pinpoint what really is the strong man’s house we are to first to bind and subdue and then plunder for God’s glory! James says by the Spirit of God that the epicenter of all demonic activity is centered around bitter jealousy, strife, selfish ambition, and denying that you operate in this is arrogance and thus you lie against the truth (James 3:14)! It is knowing the truth that sets us free…not lying against it and hiding in the closet the war that rages in our members that you may have yielded to!

The Linguistic Key to the Greek NT shows us that the word usage by James in verse 13 and 14 is very unique and illuminating.

1) The gentleness of the wisdom from above (wise woman) is a meekness that is in direct opposition to arrogance (evil woman) and is listed as a humble and gentle attitude which expresses itself in a patient and submissiveness to offense, free from malice and desire for revenge. (If we do not exhibit a Messiah like attitude of turning the other cheek and freedom from malice and revenge then we are treacherous adulterers.)

2) Zeal is listed here as the fierce desire to promote ones own opinion to the exclusion of others. (This is what creates the beginnings of fractures and divisions of relationships at every level. This is another sign of adultery with this world’s system.)

3) Selfish ambition is referenced as actually being a word used of a leader of a party that was created for his own pride and rivalry against his opposition (i.e. political party)! (Church splits and the fragmentation of family relationships can be easily seen as driven by this drive of selfish ambition…but could it be the entire Christian Right political system that so many believers have been actively associated with to change our nation is actually the cunning trick of the evil woman to allure us into this adulteress world system? Selah…think about it.)

4) Now let us stand back and get a macro read on this progression of earthly (false) wisdom into the all demonic…. First comes in the introduction of the natural, which is unspiritual and pertains to the natural life that men and animals have. Then it progresses quickly to the demonic which can be tagged in the early stages as disorder, disturbances, trouble, instability. This is all triggered by those who in their (false) natural wisdom trouble the group of believers by demanding their own rights and exercising a party spirit! (I personally have seen good believers get deceived and led into this adultery by reading/incorporating leadership and destiny messages from the business marketplace that appeal to their selfish ambition to grow a church; grow a tithing base; grow a number and purpose driven ministry; and thus fall into this deception of a natural (false wisdom) mind set which becomes set in their deceived thinking that this is what really pleases God! Thus the ends justifies the means to get this goal accomplished and all who stand in their way get excluded and cut off! It all revolves around fulfilling their own destiny and this is exactly the message that is being marketed by popular ministers on the Christian media outlets of North America and Europe! Where is the message of self denial, dying daily, the extreme love of the brethren, and going outside the camp and allowing yourself be treated as the scum of the earth as is outlined in 1 Cor. 4 and Hebrews 13? It is not there because the adultery with the world system (false wisdom) feels good when it aligns itself to the war that rages in our members to live for self! This is why there is so many demonic offenses, church splits, lawlessness, and apostasy going on now in the Spirit-filled communities! Today we are heightened war of increasing friendly fire!!!)

5) Let me also add this is how Jezebel has gained such a dominance in so much of Israelite and Church history. Jezebel is not some strong opinionated woman with a personality and intelligence that can lead better than some men (this is why so many men/women get jealous and use this name to tag many warfare anointed sisters out there. There is many highly trained female warriors out there so be careful about what you say and label as “Jezebel”. Read PS. 68:11-12). Jezebel is actually centered in Baal worship which was the ancient pagan god who was worshiped to bring the much needed rain to an agricultural based society on the border of desert lands. What made Baal worship so seductive to the Israelite nation was that it appealed to their lust for prosperity and the good life (rains…crops grow…prosperity ensues), but it did not have all the strict stipulations of the Law of Moses. This is exactly what is mirrored today…let’s worship and pray to a “God” who sent “Jesus” for my prosperity, convenience, and comfort but we do not need to hear about dying daily and the message of the cross (i.e. stipulations)! This is where Jezebel finds her greatest inroads and seduction and it is through this selfish ambition that is from the false wisdom of this world! This is true spiritual adultery!!!

Wow, this is heavy and shows why so much of what we have done and allowed into our lives is nothing more than listening to this evil woman which is akin to being a friend of this world system and thus an adulteress in God’s eyes and His enemies! And when we are veiled into this darkened state of mind…it does not matter how much you pray, fast, and worship…your prayers are not going to get answered because we are asking with wrong motives (James 4:1-4)!

Now how to get out of this darkened state of mind and not be a treacherous adulteress with this world system!

By a diligent reading of the above Scriptural texts we can now see that the operation of this demonic adulteress system finds it’s self in sync with our lower nature that is waging war in our members. The only way to subdue and die to this war in our members is to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us into death and mortification of our lower members as is outlined in Romans 8. This is why God has sent a renewal/revival of the move of His Spirit this last decade…and it was to facilitate and raise up a radical army of newly Spirit submerged believers who are baptized in His power to do exploits and wage tactical warfare to rescue hostages and M.I.A.’s from the enemy’s prison camps of sin! This theme has been entitled as the Desert Shepherd Warrior paradigm of NT ministry and let’s incorporate these instructions from the Book of James to help us defeat this enemy.

1) You must identify the enemies main entrance into your life and how fierce that battle is waging. To underestimate this stratagem of the enemy is to be defeated already. James says that our lower pleasures wage war or carry out a military campaign…how much stronger language can there be! This is the same meaning found in Romans 7:23 and I Peter 2:11. (read it now)

2) It is wrong to pray and ask God for things that will secure enjoyment for our lower nature. Throughout this passage money is especially in mind. If you do not want to use all your money and resources to find ways to win the lost then you are in a secretive treacherous adultery against God. (James 4:3)

3) Adultery is friendship with this world. Friendship with this world is to listen and obey your lower nature and the drive for selfish ambition, zeal for justification, and rivalry and revenge against others who stand in your way. If you choose this mode of always default to when trials and temptations come…then you are a enemy of God and you will be shaken and judged. …It is that simple and starling.

4) The door of escape from this self destructive lifestyle is to understand a summation James uses of the entire OT history with the Jewish people. James 4:4 states that “The Sprit He has made to dwell in us jealously desires us”. This is not a chapter and verse quotation from James about a reference in the OT. However, this is a summation of the ENTIRE SCRIPTURES (Tanakh= The Law, The Prophets, The Writings). Meaning that the entire OT written history of God’s covenants, acts of redemption, acts of judgments, and future prophetic apocalyptic events can all be summed up that He jealously desires His people and if they do not respond the same way then they are in adultery!

5) To not submit to God’s jealously fire of desire for us is pride. To submit to God’s jealous fire of desire for us is humility. It is that simple and profound. (James 4:6)

6) This is what true submission to God is all about and this is what causes the enemy to run in terror. It is when you obey this imperative command of our Commander and Chief to obey and align your self under His authority. It is only then you can take your stand against the enemy and oppose aggressively his tactics and that you can win stealthily. If you do not submit totally to God then you are in a dream world of your own religious making and playing church. The enemy will never flee from that point of engagement you have carnally chosen. And God will never answer your adulterous prayers of an enemy. You are now caught out in the open and the demons are laughing as they play mind games and psychological warfare as they slowly hamstring and decapitate you farther away from your first live…. (James 4:7)

7) We must draw near to God first. He has already drawn near to us through the fire of His desire as is evidenced in His Son. (James 4:8)

8 ) We must clean our hands and recognize we are sinners (treacherous adulterers). We must purify our hearts and not be double-minded and in bed having intercourse with this world’s system (evil woman of worldly wisdom). This is what James means by being double minded! You have two love affairs going on…with God and yourself! (James 1:7 and 4:8)

9) This type of treacherous adultery must be purged out by weeping and mourning. This is the Godly sorrow that is so resented and resisted by the carnal nature. It is in this state that you can be deceived by laughter and joy arising from the wellspring of natural pleasures, happy music, or even seeking His hand instead of His face. The gloom of true weeping and repentance of how much we have treacherously left God our only true love is what will build up the true fire wall of death to self that brings us into the hidden altar of Hebrews 13. This is the humility that is such a powerful weapon against the wisdom of this world system! (James 4:9-10 and Luke 18:13).

10) Do not speak against one another to defame or trash somebodies life and ministry when they are not in your presence. Judge and speak out only when you have the facts and are pursuing a Matthew 18 conciliation process. If you do not pursue this Scriptural precedent of Matthew 18 to its utter end for eventual reconciliation then you are speaking against God’s law and in the height of spiritual adultery. When you are in spiritual adultery as is prefaced in James 4:4, then you cannot move in the Spirit of Justice to guide God’s people and correct them with the rod of truth. This is the tongue that is set on fire by hell itself as is listed in James 2:6. The tongue of the adulteress woman and system! (This is again why you see so many believers and leaders in the churches suing each other and not taking the Messiah-like recourse of being defrauded and wronged and bearing it quietly as is outlined powerfully in I Cor. 6:6-7. When you see believers and leaders resorting or threatening to use attorneys it is already the fruit of their spiritual adultery, yielding to the wisdom of this world, and seeking their own revenge and justification! I warn all the sheep who see this happening in their congregations to run away from this ASAP! It will effect your health, family, and especially bring a defilement from the root of bitterness! This is a warning!!! The epicenter of hell is rising up and the portal of the underworld is manifesting when you see this!!!! Run away from it now!!!!!)

11) All boasting and planning for financial gain through business endeavors without first seeking God’s direction is treacherous spiritual adultery. James lists this transience of a life of business pursuits like a steam from a kettle or smoke which the wind carries away. So to will happen to all those who pursue money, pleasure, and selfish ambition apart from absolute submission to His jealous fire for you.

There is so much more here for us warriors to feed on this morning from the James chapter 5. But I will leave you with these key points of reference to efficiently recognize our stealth like enemy and how to take radical evasive maneuvers to outflank him in this late hour.
