The Cycle of Resistance
Shalom Fellow Warriors,
This morning I was given from Heaven a brief but very encouraging word for the cycle of faith you have been standing in. I want you to meditate on this simple teaching and get it deep into your spirit man…so that during the times of what I call the “yes, but not yet of faith” you are able to understand this divine process of living and walking by faith.
The “yes, but not yet of faith” is that, yes you have received the thing by faith when you pray (see Mark 11:24), but it has not materialized yet. So what many believers do during this time is to continue to pray and ask and cry out in a type of religious anxiety attack not realizing that the next step to this answered prayer is the Cycle of Resistance.
To refine our faith like pure gold God does not just allow…but actually prepares the kiln of fiery testing to purify and form our faith (actually His faith in us) to His specifications (see I Peter 1). We see this example of the children of Israel in the desert wandering for forty years because they complained and grumbled at the cycle of testing they were going into before they partook of the Promised Land blessings. This cycle of resistance was the fact that they were going to war and it was only the spirit of Joshua and Caleb in Numbers 13-14 that pleased God. Thus the different spirit is the one whose action is to run to the battle line and not away from it.
So dear warrior brethren, the cycle of resistance is to be expecting each time you and I step out in faith to believe God for the impossible to become possible there is going to be a new resistance level you must overcome. It is the no-man’s land of the yes but not yet where we resist the temptation to complain or even ball and squall out to God, but rather gird up our loins for action and resistance. It is the testing ground of faith that separates the half-milers from the triathletes in the Spirit.
Here is the greatest and most effective attitude and different spirit to exude in these cycles of resistance we all encounter before the promise is received.
James, a bond-servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad: Greetings. Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
-James 1:1-8
The way to endure and pass like pure gold the cycle of resistance that automatically comes from heaven when you walk by faith is to count it all joy…a rapturous intoxication in Him!
Let today be a new beginning wherein you rejoice and worship Abba until you are filled to overflowing with His joy and strength! When you hit this aquifer in the Spirit then the cycle of resistance is almost completed and your answer is on the way! Just ask Him for the wisdom how to stay in this zone of single-mindedness when your senses and circumstances scream at you the opposite!
Be mega blessed dear friends! We love you and let us hear from you!!!
In His service for your faith,
Scott and Dalit
