Shalom Friends and Fellow Vertical Warriors,

Something very mysterious and spontaneous happened this Christmas Sunday here in Israel! Its sound has been heard throughout the Spirit realm and it began here at the lowest place on planet earth. Let me give you recap for those who have not heard….

  1. The prophetic promise of the Aravah desert being the beginning of the new thing God is doing in these last days is the setting for this battle event (Isaiah 35).
  2. This same area that the Dead Sea in part covers is also the same area of the most significant battles in Scriptural history. I.e. Abraham/Lot vs. Sodom and Gomorrah; Moses vs. Moab; Balaam vs. Israel; David vs. Saul (Shepherd warrior vs. Kingship warrior); John the Baptist vs. the religious rulers; Yeshua (Jesus) vs. satan; Masada vs. pagan Rome.

  1. This lowest point on earth and its environs take up countless references and mysterious motifs concerning spiritual warfare and overcoming not just the enemy but also ones lower nature (see Psalms 63).
  2. This area will once again become fresh and full of life for the healing of the nations by the river of God that will flow once again here (Ezekiel 47).
  3. And this is also the same area that the famous Highway of Holiness will be found in Isaiah 35! No wonder some of the most significant Spiritual battles in history were fought here…. The enemy hates the message of holiness more than anything else!

The last few weeks I have had such a burning desire to explore this Aravah area in my free time and even became amused that a major Christian TV network last month featured an article about this famous prophecy of Isaiah 35. However, instead of keeping to the literal context of the Scriptures here in Israel they used Isaiah 35 as to mean “Interstate 35” (I-35) is the new highway of holiness that supposedly runs through the center of the United States of America…huh? I wish folks that mean well would stay with the original intent of the Scriptures and not conveniently take them to apply to their kingdom building mentality outside of Israel! (No wonder we holler and cry out in prayer so much and nothing happens except the feeling of Pentecostal jet-lag after those services because God only answers prayer that is in line with His Word and not our revisionisms!).

Anyhow, last week we get this call from some friends that we need to be in the Dead Sea area for Christmas Sunday of which Dalit and I would much rather do than be in the same old dead Sunday services for December 25th! We love following His spontaneous windward ways and will follow Him outside the camp (Hebrews 13)! And we know that you’ all want to do the same…that is why you follow and support this ministry!

So what was to happen in the most desolate spot on the planet this holiday Sunday that would grab Dalit and my immediate attention?

  1. Hundreds of unsaved Israeli’s and drug rehab patients are gathering to volunteer.
  2. Several unsaved orthodox rabbis will be there. Some of which are rebuilding the 3rd temple!
  3. Both major news networks in Israel are featuring stories on this event.
  4. No “leaders” of the Christian community of Israel are coming (they are too busy with their programs).
  5. The Guinness Book of World records will be on location for this event!
  6. Halleluiah Prophetic Global Ministries Intl. from the Philippines will be there (I like that name!)
  7. And many humble and sweet believers from Korea and the Philippines will also be there to worship and pray!

So what happened at this exciting gathering?

It was the prophetic unveiling of the largest Israeli flag in the world weighing over 5,200 kilos and covering an area of 20,000 square meters! Yet not only the largest Israeli flag in the world but also the largest banner made up of the largest flags of the Philippines, North and South Korea combined! (See the photos below)!

Now right in the middle of this event the Holy Spirit tells me to walk to the center of the largest Israeli flag in the world and sound the shofar for the promise of Isaiah 35 to begin! You will notice that Grace Galindez-Gupana (flag designer and sponsor) joins me in the center and then crumples to the tarmac of the runway under deep intercession for revival in Israel! What was to follow was some of the best street witnessing to unsaved Jewish people I have seen in years! They loved it!!!!

Let me leave you with a Scripture I have never seen before until after this prophetic event happened and it is found in the book of Isaiah.

“All you people of the world, everyone who lives on the earth – when I raise my battle flag on the mountain, look! When I blow the shofar horn, listen! For the Lord has told me this: I will watch quietly from my dwelling place – as quietly as the heat rises on a summer day, or as the morning dew forms during the harvest.” Isaiah 18:3-4 (NLT)

What does this mean to you and I in this hour and what is Abba speaking to us thru this prophetic event at the lowest place on earth?

  1. Jew and Gentile one in the Messiah is the key to the end-time revival.
  2. Everyone on the earth needs to look and see that the largest battle flag and banner ever unfolded in history has been raised next to the mountains of the lowest and deadest place on earth. Right in the epicenter of the greatest past spiritual battles in Biblical history!
  3. Everyone on earth needs to listen…because the shofar war trumpet has also been blown at the same time!
  4. God is quietly (yet ruthlessly) from His dwelling place setting the stage for the greatest harvest ever and it will be clear to those who know how to wait for Him patiently until the dew of this His revelation forms and settles on them!

Sit back dear friends and fellow warriors and soak in these photos and this Scripture texts above. It has begun and look for big things to happen in these nations represented above in this the largest war banner ever raised on planet earth!

Get out of the stupor of this false holiday spirit this December and get geared up and recalibrated for battle! This is going to be our finest hour and you were created for spontaneous tactical warfare outside the camp in this late hour!!! Battle stations and full speed ahead!!!
