Boqer Or (Good Morning Light)!

Shalom Friends and Fellow Warriors,

Mega Shalom to you from Israel!  May the grace of the Lord Messiah Yeshua stimulate you into new adventures with Him!  I’m writing to you this morning after coming out of the shahar pre-dawn blackness of the secret place
(Ps. 63).  The secret place of intimacy and protection that is available to every believer when they decide to ruthlessly obey whatever He dictates out of His Sovereign eternal counsel…via His still small voice.  Oh what a joy it is to know Him and make Him known!

As I mentioned in our last communiqué to you last week, there is a definite sound of the hosts of Heaven moving in the top of the mulberry trees right now!  There is a unknown new jet stream coming out of Heaven and we must rise up to seize this new flow (Matt. 11:12).  I experienced this “glory shock” last week while spending time alone along the banks of a river here in the central coastal region of Israel.  In the tops of the trees above me was this sudden sound of chariots and loud rushing wind that paralyzed me into fear and holy awe!  It was a break out into the natural realm of what is coming to Israel and we have no time to waste didlydadling around with anything that will hinder us from ruthlessly obeying Him!  This same type of event happened with David in 2 Samuel 5:17-25 when he was forced to go to war because of the terrorizing armies arrayed against the Israelites.  And God revealed Himself to David in the fight as BAAL-PERAZIM or The Master of the Breakthrough!

And herein lies the key to our victory (i.e. breakthrough), we must be courageously following whatever He is doing…with all speed and not let the paralysis of analysis set in.  Notice that it is not suppose to be us setting the agenda and then pressing into God to get that agenda, project, or prayer request fulfilled.  This will lead to fruitless hours of unneeded prayer, fasting, begging, and wasted energy/time.  No, we must find out where the new wind of Heaven is blowing and then fall in line behind it.  Those of you with cycling or triathlon backgrounds know exactly what I’m talking about here.  The key to long distance racing is to find the fastest pack of riders and then fall in line behind them and let them break the head winds.  It is called drafting and is the key to conserving energy and winning a race!

My inbox lately is filled with thousands of emails from wonderful believers who are doing many of the right things but are still frustrated and have not seen that mega breakthrough in their lives.  Let me give you a solid word of advice this morning.  Your breakthrough is found in your level of obedience to Him.  If you are not drafting directly behind Him, then you are wasting a lot of energy and time trying to make things happen in your own strength and zeal.  If He has repeatedly told you to do a certain thing, then why have you not done it?  When you are in this state of disobedience He will still care for you and provide the things to keep your maintenance of living …but aren’t you tired of just trying over and over to spiritually “make” things happen?  If so, then perken up your antennae’s to what He is saying to you this morning thru this digital email.  You need to rend your hearts and ask Him to show you where you have been dancing around the main issue He has been communicating to you.  It is time to fall back in line to robust discipleship which is actually just 100% obedience to His will …not your will.

It is here in this zone of what I call the “no man’s land of Gethsemane” that the new thing suddenly happens by His pre-ordained counsel and will.  A mysterious lift will begin to move you right back into drafting position behind the hosts of Heaven!  This mysterious lift is His favor and grace that automatically moves in when we align with His predetermined plan that He has already set for you before the world began.  It will then be Him breaking things open for you….  He will be fighting for you….  He will be going ahead of you…. And as you are drafting behind this flow, it will amaze you how easy and pleasant it is to serve Him in the valley of the shadow of death!  It is time to fall in line with what He has predestined you for and quit listening to yourself or other well meaning friends around you!  It is time to get again drafting behind Him!

Abba is so pleased when we are just like children and joyfully obey!  Let us draft together in this new thing here in Israel that is beginning to surface!!!
