Shalom Friends and Fellow Warriors,

One of the most profound mysteries of the Scriptures is the pre-determined plan of God to supernaturally transform simple believers into fearsome warriors that send paranoia throughout the encampments of the underworld.  This mystery is embedded in the Scriptures at key junctions of transition when God is setting up new wineskins and also systematically laying low the current generation of believers who refuse to believe and enter His rest thru faithful warfare (Hebrews 4).

So what can we do to position ourselves to be available and thus fill the ranks of this all volunteer army that is assembling in this late hour?  In this morning’s communiqué, I would like to inspire your faith thru a simple outlining of texts that confirm this quick progression towards the new levels of warfare that has yet been seen on planet earth.  It is a new day and it is time for the new generation of Battle Axe’s to arise and fulfill His desire for supremacy in the earth as is foretold by the prophets of old!

In I Chronicles 11-12, we see the pattern of what happens when God sends His Spirit upon believers who are courageous and take on the enemy encampments greater in number and strength than themselves.  Here is a brief outline of David’s mighty men that will bless you.

  1. Jashobeam, chief of thirty mighty men, who lifted his spear and slew 300 at one time (v. 11).
  2. Eleazar, one of the original three, who defended a barley plot against an overwhelming number of Philistines (vs. 12-14).
  3. Three unknown men, who broke thru the fortified Philistine stronghold in Bethlehem and against overwhelming odds and brought back water for David (vs. 17-19).
  4. Abshai, used his spear and slew 300 in battle (v. 20).
  5. Benaiah, struck down the two lion-like heroes of Moab.  He also killed a lion in a pit on a snowy day and then later killed a huge 7’ 5” giant Egyptian with a huge spear like a weavers beam (vs. 22-25).
  6. Mighty warriors from the Gadites came to David when he was in the wilderness who had faces like lions and as swift as gazelles on the mountains.  The weakest one among them was considered equal to a hundred soldiers and the strongest among them was equal to a thousand soldiers (vs. 12:14-15). 

Now what I want you’all to focus in on is the movement of the Spirit of God upon these warriors when they saw the new thing God was doing thru David’s courageous leadership.  Read 1 Chron. 12:18-22, and see the mighty army that came together very quickly.  Then a second wave of unity came forth that brought in the rest of the warriors in the tribes of Judah and Israel together who had formerly served King Saul and undoubtedly would have been used as the illegal posse to hunt down David several years earlier!  Also notice that the sons of Issachar joined in to help and they had a unique recon gift of discernment to direct the mighty men of God (v. 32)!

Now time does not suffice us in this email to list all the other exploits that were done by believers like Joshua, Caleb, the Judges, Samuel, the prophets, and the other simple folk who turned mighty in battle and routed the enemy!  Just a brief reading of Hebrews 11, you can see a faith filled generation of simple believers made mighty in battle thru Spiritual exploits.  They are the witnesses now in the grandstands of Heaven looking down on us in this final race of faith.  If I get grieved with so many spineless believers I have come across the last 20 years of conducting revival meetings, how much more does the Holy Spirit and these witnesses grieve at the sight of so many believers not rising up to do the exploits God has pre-destined them to employ!

In I Cor. 12:4-6, we see a unique pattern of the new wineskin that is developing in this hour.  Notice the pattern….  In verse 4, the Spirit is equated with the Gifts.  In verse 5, the Messiah is equated with the ministries.  And in verse 6, God Himself is equated with the effects or operations of the spiritual realm we are not to be ignorant of (v. 1)!  Could it be in our generation of believers that the pattern of the Holy Spirit’s gifts were awakened and released to us via the past Azusa and Welsh revivals?  And the Messiah’s ministries (5 fold) were released in full measure during the past Charismatic renewal with the Apostle and Prophets coming to the forefront as never before since the Book of Acts?  And now we are at the juncture in history where God Himself is going to act with stupendous and varied effects and operations never seen before on earth?  And a diligent study in the Holy Script, you will see that these operations and workings of power are always in the context of war!

…Do you see what I see?  It is not just a star in the night twinkling but the very Universe is going to shake as the manifest sons of God arise in battle array against the hosts of darkness!  I don’t have time here, but just read the end time Apocalyptic writings in Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Malachi, the Gospels, the Epistles, and Revelation!  What do you see that is so different than what you hear today in Western churchianity?  It is about a cataclysmic war and not about these self centered destiny messages and life improvement seminars!  The tabernacle of David that is being raised up in these last days is not just worship and prayer…it is about war!  Look at David’s pattern of life and ministry…he was not just a poetic worshipper…he was a man of war and attracted all other might men of valor in the region to join him!  Pastors, you want to get more men in your congregations?  Then change the service pattern to war and stop entertaining the squatters and fearful!

Now as we align ourselves with this big picture you will then notice the increased amount of spiritual tactical activity that will begin in your sector.  Study out Zech. 1:7-17, and notice the Heavenly beings not even listed as angels who appear on the scene wanting war.  They do not want the earth to be quiet!  They want the earth to be in upheaval so God’s promises of Jerusalem and the Land of Israel will come to pass!  Thank God there was a man in Babylon named Daniel who stirred himself up and recognized the 70 year prophesy of Jeremiah was up (Jer. 29:10).  Time to pray and war against the Prince of Persia because it is time to go home to Eretz Yisrael (Daniel 9-10)!  And what about today?  Could it be that God is wanting to bait the Prince of Persia again (Iran) and bring him out for a glorious battle and victory?  So why are so many believers wetting their pants about the Iranian nuclear threat and wanting to pack their bags and leave the Middle East!  I say bring it on and let’s watch God glorify Himself in battle once again (Ezekiel 38:23)!  Read about Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38-39….  And what does it follow?  The reunion and unity of Judah and Israel once again under the Davidic style leadership of war out of the valley of dry bones resurrection (Ezek. 37)!

Glory to God!  Dear warriors it is time to rise up in this hour and volunteer to be His Battle Axe’s per Jer. 51:20-27!  Lift up the signal and sound the shofars for war!  Flush fear and trepidation from your minds and get so intoxicated in His love that nothing matters except pleasing Him who has given you the honor to freely volunteer in the day of His power!  It is from the womb of the dawn that this volunteerism will be conceived in you!
