Boqer Or (Good Morning Light)!

Shalom Friends,

I’m in a eerie state of culture shock right now as I transverse the USA conducting Holy Spirit services the month of August.  It has been a very difficult trip personally for me this time coming back to America and I seem to not be able to go any length of time without feeling vexed in my spirit
(2 Peter 2:7-9).  At a drop of a hat I will start groaning and weeping for the state of the things I now see developing here without having been prepped by watching any Cable TV news channels.  I just feel like the weeping’s of Jeremiah have taken over and I must zealously help people take evasive actions to be ready for what is coming next on the horizon (Jer. 13:15-17).  It indeed is peculiar, as my personal times with Abba are so filled with refreshing joyful zeal, but at any given moment I will begin to weep out of that wellspring of joy for the state I now find so many in.  We are in a time of unprecedented shakings!

These are a few of the things the Holy Spirit has highlighted to me on this trip –

  1. The weary look of uncertainty in so many believers eyes and the lack of strong zeal to keep pushing forward.  Just kind of like a neutral despondency of just coasting along with no real resolve to do new radical things for God.
  2. The lack of more strong warriors being raised up due to the continued milk diet of “disaster relief” messages from the popular pulpits, rather than teaching the stricken to embrace the desert times and advance thru endurance and counter-attacks.
  3. The lack of generosity motivated by an all out cheerful love due to the new and strong self-centered preservation mode believers default into when fear of the unknown takes root.
  4. The inordinate amount of believers not only overweight but also obese in their physical temples.  This is unprecedented and very dangerous!  It just makes me want to weep how much gluttony has overtaken our culture!  God has spoken to many to lose weight and get fit again but they can’t seem to maintain the momentum to do this.

It is in this environment that the phrase “it is time to Triangulate” has come from the Holy Spirit to me today.  Triangulation is the broad sense of the term is any trigonometric operation for finding a position or location by means of bearings from two fixed points a known distance apart.  Thus, in today’s Early Morning Manna we can use this term to highlight the critical need to immediately find the past fixed markers in one’s life where God has spoken and preformed a new thing in your life, and thus initiate your re-grouping based on that past known co-ordinance and nothing else.

This can be extremely helpful and the Apostle Paul makes reference to this principle to the younger Timothy,

“This command I entrust to you, Timothy, my son, in accordance with the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may fight the good fight.”
(I Tim. 1:18)

Notice here that there are past prophecies and times of God visiting Timothy that he needs to draw upon to not be rescued from the fight, but rather keep fighting the good fight!  I believe this is the key for all of our recalibration in this fight all of us find ourselves in.  We must find that sweet spot of intimacy and re-categorize to the top of our priority list of the words He has spoken over us to do.  We must triangulate back to the place we last heard His voice and stay fixed on that bearing and not look for an exit strategy from the battle we are all in!

Another thing that will keep you in this hour is to understand that when the Apostle Paul told Timothy to fight the good fight (if it is a good fight then why are so many looking for a exit plan?), what is the expected “length” of this fight.  The Linguistic Key to the Greek New Testament states that Paul used the word here “fight” as not a isolated event, but rather as a “military campaign or expedition”!  Think about that!  This is a military campaign we are on and it involves many years of battles, advances, and regroupings!  Re-calibrate yourselves for the long haul dear ones and don’t give up!  Don’t give in to evil!  And don’t relax your grip on what Abba has promised you!  This is not a 100 meter dash but a long distance endurance race!

It is a real joy to be co-laborers with you as we occupy until He returns!  We have so many exciting stealth operations in the oven right now and are ready to ram them into the enemy’s encampments in Israel!  We just need a supply drop parachuted in!
