The anointing and mandate on our lives is to help position and steer you into the greatest spiritual adventures your mind has yet to fathom.  It is a place of the most ecstatic Heavenly joy as you enter into the secret place of the new thing He is doing in the earth today.  The purpose of these “rivers” suddenly breaking out in the wasteland of Israel is to alert us that He is now inviting us to follow Him into a pre-ordained adventure of blessings that has been predetermined for you before the foundation of the world (Prov. 8 and Rom. 8).  Many believers miss this invitation because they do not calibrate their ears to not only hear…but also respond quickly when His Spirit wind suddenly manifests in ways that defy human logic and brain wave activity.  These mysterious Spirit wind encounters/invitations usually do not appear in our highly programmed Sunday or mid-week services, but rather in the wilderness wastelands of His choosing.  They happen spontaneously and always catch us by surprise.  Why?  So that He may receive all the awe and glory and not our own carnal ideas of thinking we know it all.

Obesity and preventable diseases is on the rise like never before in our culture.  We here at Rivers In the Desert want to help you achieve victory over the lower nature and recondition your physical temple the way God intended in His original design.  Many of us know this requires hard work and a disciplined lifestyle within the context of efficient time management.  However, I have seen so few do it in a way that is radically God pleasing, Spirit centered, and does not turn into a self absorbed idolatrous quest of cosmetic change due to external peer pressures.

Yes, you read the title correctly…we are going talk about bring more excitement to your marriage in the context of tactical Spirit propelled exploits against evil!  So get your seat belts fastened and here we go!

Last night Dalit and I planned to have some quiet time together and take a much needed “date” away from the busy schedule of living in Israel.  Now I do not necessarily believe that the way to build strong marriages in this age of epidemic divorce and immorality is to always go out to the usual venues most couples choose for a night out (i.e. restaurants, entertainments, vacation packages).  Because those things, even though OK and readily endorsed by many, really do not bring about the truly stimulating adventure needed to build a strong marriage in this late hour.  They are way to  self-centered and lack the necessary power to keep couples focused on the Higher Prize in the Messiah.  The main reason for marriage is to serve God in a more productive battle array than you if you are single.  (Now don’t start sending me a bunch of knee jerk reactionary emails yet..LOL..I’m not against the above things.  Hang in there and let me finish here…).

I received this strong word that it would be meant to be spread out there to those whom you know and love the Jewish people and the Nation of Israel.  Yes, it is controversial, but it must be brought out and exposed lest we keep wasting our time doing nice things thinking we are actually obeying the Scriptures, when the bottom line is we have fallen prey to doctrines of devils and the cunning craftiness of the winds of doctrines birthed by the shrewd marketing of man.

Yes, it time to talk about this topic and expose the ruthless spirit of the underworld that is fueling it.  It is time to wake up, smell the coffee, and see that our beloved faith is being hijacked by carnal leaders in the “church” world who have given themselves over to sensuality and a plethora of lustful perversions that now is being exposed like never before.  This has resulted in a strange and twisted form of a hyper-grace religious message that was birthed to cover up and justify what they have been doing behind closed doors (i.e. sexual perversion).  It is time to listen to this shofar warning and take evasive actions!

This new series of EMM’s on recovering the lost discipline of begging sure has been rich hasn’t it!  There is so much God pleasing material here that it just excites me to no end how together we can dive into the unfathomable deeps of His grace as is seen in this mystery unveiled in 2 Cor. 8 and 9.  My sole ambition is to please Him and not others…or even myself.  I’m consumed to please Him and if God has given over people to unclean spiritual filth, as is seen in Romans 1:24-32, then why can’t He also give people over to full possession of the Holy Ghost?  This has been my prayer and I think He is answering it!  Oh, I feel taken over by His invisible realm of glory and there is no looking back!

Wow!  Massive downpours and flooding hit the central sector of Israel last week and more is on the way!  Is there any significance to the recent Flashfloods here in Israel for us who are looking to this promised land as a prophetic clock in understanding world events?  I believe there is and the immensity of the display of the atmospheric disturbances here has been quite startling!  What a lighting show indeed!
