Emergency Trumpet Warning

Shalom Friends and Fellow Warriors,

We were not planning to send out another email update to you’all again so soon, but the current events mounting here on the ground in Israel are becoming very critical and dangerous. This afternoon I began to feel the evil foreboding witness that something is developing in this region that is like a evil and violent storm. Then later this evening one of my close contacts here in Israel, who is a commander in a very special counter-terrorism unit, suddenly dropped by our house for a quick coffee before he headed out to do sudden operations tonight in the valley of the shadow of death. The news he brought me was not good and confirmed the evil foreboding I had felt a few hours earlier. He was called up suddenly by his superiors and was in a very big hurry to get situated tonight and wanted to stop by and get a blessing. Dear friends and partners…there is very serious new developments here in the Middle East tonight and what we have all been expecting to happen has begun to boil over…. There is a cloud of darkness descending here that is chaotic and not good.

I am not allowed to explain any specifics of what is developing here in the Middle East, but what I can say is that now is the time to pray and send generous financial support to greatly assist these one of a kind counter-terrorism operations we wrote to you about earlier this week. We need to quickly build out this training center to house, care and disciple the people being sent to us. We also need to complete the good will projects we have started to assist some of the special units here (see this link for more info).

Tonight as I was just finishing a security check here in our neighborhood and walking around praying in the Spirit…I came across an editorial article that was released yesterday by the editor in chief of the US News and World Report. Though I do not agree with his concluding (weak) solution about what is transpiring here in the Middle East, I do enthusiastically agree with his security assessment of what is happing here in Israel. It is a very good overview! Please read it now….

The Coming Middle East Crisis
The region has gone from bad to worse to horrible

When Joe Biden predicted that the new president would face a grave international crisis within six months, he didn’t specify where it might come from. He presumptuously said it would be President Obama and was duly criticized. But he was right about the coming crisis. The new president will soon face a momentous challenge in the Middle East, which has gone from bad to worse to horrible.

The critical factor is that Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas has lost the capacity to deliver anything—and his term as president of the Palestinian Authority is up around the day our new president takes the oath. Abbas’s predecessor, Yassir Arafat, was capable of acting against the will of the more radical Hamas. He had the charisma Abbas lacks—along with leadership skills, ruthlessness, and a killer instinct. But Arafat blew the best chance ever for a Middle East settlement, gravely misjudging Israel’s will by launching a second intifada. Meanwhile, in a Gaza free of Israeli occupation, the Palestinians chose to rain rockets on Israel, never even attempting to build a new state.

Hamas has emerged as the stronger faction, perhaps strong enough to undermine any agreement Abbas could negotiate. It now controls Gaza. In the West Bank, Hamas has established a vast network of social welfare organizations and has been slowly building up a kind of shadow regime by infiltrating the government bureaus. The former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who represents the Quartet negotiators (United States, Russia, European Union, and United Nations), recognized the situation on the ground when he said recently, Europeans don’t understand that, “if Israel got out of the West Bank tomorrow, Hamas would take over.”

Promoting hate. Abbas has weakened his own ability to maneuver by tolerating the promotion of hate and incitement of violence against Israel and Jews in general, from virtually every public platform in the West Bank. The Palestinian suicide bomber comes directly out of an ethos that says, “Blessed is the suicide bomber for he is a national hero.” This hatred, with its calls for terrorism and jihad, is inculcated in the Palestinians’ education system and in their public media. Rejectionism remains at the core of Palestinian politics and has contributed to the defeat of every partition plan proposed from the dawn of Zionism to the present day.

That is why, when Abbas speaks in Arabic to his own people, he speaks in much more radical terms than what we hear in the West. Witness the recent Palestinian cartoon that depicted the Palestinian state as covering all of the territories from the West Bank to the Mediterranean—including pre-1967 Israel—totally wrapped in a Palestinian flag draped over a rifle. The ends and the means of this message could not be clearer.

The West has sought to strengthen Abbas economically and with weapons in the hopes that he could create a viable and responsible state. Perversely, the billions of aid dollars from around the world have contributed to a corrupt Fatah elite that has alienated more Palestinians than the loss of any modest improvement these funds could have contributed to their basic living conditions.

That is why Fatah lost the elections in the West Bank and Gaza in 2006 to Hamas and why Fatah security forces were routed in Gaza in 2006 in a matter of a few days. The Fatah security forces were so weak that the leadership left Gaza without even fighting, many of them retreating to their grand villas in Cairo, all witnessed on Palestinian television—yet another humiliation for Fatah.

In Jenin, one can see what good leadership can yield. There, Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad established a unified security service. Now, instead of the anarchy of armed gangs dominating the streets, there is a sense of an overwhelming presence of the Palestinian security forces restoring law and order. The Israeli military cooperated by providing amnesty to members of the militias and gangs for past crimes if they laid down their weapons and renounced violence. Palestinian security forces have replaced the Israeli security forces, which are symbols of an occupation. The hope is that Jenin will be a model for other cities, given the widespread lawlessness in the West Bank. The problem is that the militias biding their time have an estimated 120,000 weapons under the floorboards. As a former military governor of Jenin and Bethlehem pointed out, “Fatah may have the weapons but Hamas has the people behind it…the great fear of the Fatah forces is that, in a showdown, the Palestinian public will side with Hamas.” Even Abbas can’t move around freely in the West Bank outside his headquarters in Ramallah because his people are not in control.

What happens in January? If Abbas ducks the challenge and unilaterally extends his term until 2010, Hamas will oppose his government, creating another challenge to his ability to make decisions and compromises. But if Abbas holds an election, Hamas might well gain the presidency. That would create an insurmountable hurdle to any peaceful settlement. A Fatah-Hamas reconciliation is now being discussed by both parties in Cairo, with the idea of forming a national unity government. But this, too, would jeopardize the hopes for any peace process.

Abbas continues the history of Palestinian politicians of conducting negotiations but not being willing, or perhaps able, to make decisions to bring negotiations to a conclusion. The dialogue is the price they pay for huge international financial contributions. The safest approach for a lengthy political life for a Palestinian leader is to make no decisions, for decisions could mean either political death or, sometimes, literal death. And since Arafat rejected President Clinton’s conciliatory efforts, the gap between the sides has grown and conditions on the ground have deteriorated, further dimming the prospects for peace.

Importantly, the military and security threat to Israel has increased since 2000. The country is in a vise. Hezbollah controls Israel’s northern border with Lebanon, while Hamas controls the southern one. Israel now faces more than 50,000 rockets, antitank missiles, and advanced antiaircraft missiles that could overfly any demilitarized zone—a vast increase in vulnerability over the last eight years. These mortal enemies of Israel—Hamas and Hezbollah—are each backed by Iran with money, training, and weaponry, not to mention that Iran’s nuclear weapons program could trump the strategic superiority of the Israeli defense forces and provide cover for terrorist attacks and groups.

Growing instability. The security concerns have also increased because of developments in the broader Middle East. What if Iraq evolves into a radical Shiite state that is dependent on Iran and hostile to Israel? What if Palestinians and Islamic extremists in the West Bank try to take advantage of the fact that two thirds of the Jordanian population is Palestinian and, through them, seek to overthrow the Hashemite Kingdom? This would pose a supremely dangerous national security threat because Jordan is a stable buffer between Syria, Iraq, and any Palestinian state. That is why some Israeli control of the border between a Palestinian state and Jordan would be essential, not just to block Palestinian irredentism that might threaten the king but also to stop terrorists importing rockets into the West Bank, as they did into Gaza. Then, they could fire rockets and mortars from the hills, dominating Ben-Gurion Airport. Just one mortar shell per week would be enough to end air transportation completely.

The likelihood is that the West Bank security fence built by Israel will become the de facto border with major Israeli population centers inside the fence in exchange for some kind of swap of land in the Negev. But the fence is limited to neutralizing the threat of infiltration by suicide bombers and cannot cope with the higher trajectory “curved fire” weaponry that can fly over any fence. The 2006 Lebanese war illustrated how difficult it is to prevent such rocket attacks without controlling the ground. It also illustrated how unreliable the United Nations or other international forces are to neutralize terrorists or block the infiltration of weapons. If anything, they are assisting Hezbollah in Lebanon.

On what basis, then, is it possible to believe that what failed eight years ago in optimal circumstances could possibly have a different outcome today ? The conventional two-state solution between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea has not proved attractive enough for either side to resolve their differences, so what can?

Clearly, the benefits must be modified if we are to have any hope of an enduring settlement. An alternative to the two-state settlement is a regional approach historically opposed by Arab states but recently floated by Bahrain’s foreign minister, Al Khalifa. He said it was time for the Middle East to develop “new regional frameworks to overcome our long-standing challenges.” And he explicitly used words that implied Israeli inclusion.

Mutually attractive political, economic, and security terms would be required for both sides to move to an agreement. One economic benefit would be the inclusion of substantial financial support from the Arab Sunni oil-producing countries. That could make a dramatic difference in the Palestinian standard of living. If it were forthcoming, it would also provide political cover for the concessions the Palestinians (as well as the Israelis) will have to make. Alas, the destruction of trillions of dollars worldwide in the current financial crunch makes it harder for the international community to cover the costs of new early warning systems for Israel to compensate for deep withdrawals from the West Bank and the Jordan Valley, as well as to help Palestinian refugees establish permanent communities in the West Bank, Jordan, and Lebanon.

Ironically, it is the leadership of the Palestinians that is now more necessary to a settlement than the Israeli leadership, which has long accepted a two-state solution. The new administration in Washington will undoubtedly bring fresh thinking to this problem. It will be more than welcome.

Notice dear warriors how accurate his assessment of the situation is here in Israel! I have been sounding the shofar about this for many months now about this same thing! I want you’all to understand how really accurate his statement is that things have “gone from bad to worse to horrible”! And he concludes his accurate article with no real solution! Why? Because the only solution is found in the Bible…we must occupy until Yeshua returns! The Scriptures are numerous and very clear that these last days will be a time that is unprecedented in human history and we must stand with Israel with renewed courage and resolve. Therefore this is why you’all helped us get moved over here debt free! And now our family is planted very deeply here and we are ready to face this upcoming wave of evil. So what I heard from one of our security sources tonight is that a very serious development with our enemies is taking place and it cannot be downplayed or negotiated away. They want war and they are ready for war…. But are we?

Blessed Be The Lord Who Trains My Hands For War….

Mega Shalom to you! The primary purpose of this ministry is to signal to you the new thing God is doing in the earth. This is a very exciting and yet sober responsibility He has given to us and may we all have the courage to courageously obey in this late hour. Time is short!

For several years now we have been syncing with the new and building move of the Spirit of Justice in these last days and thus sounding the shofar with corresponding radical signs and wonders following. Two unique areas that we have been targeting is sounding the shofar spontaneously at Government capitals for exposure of corruption, and second, to do new counter-terrorism exploits and surgical tactical warfare against Islamic jihad. This is a new pioneering work that has produced unprecedented fruit for the Master the last decade and a brief scan over our web site and archive pages will testify to this exciting adventure Abba has commissioned us on!

The time has now arrived for us to start to pull back the curtain for you (ever so slowly ) to view just a little of what we have been pioneering here in Israel the last 7 months and encourage your faith in these new exploits you can continue to be a part of. Dalit and I can now say that after much hard work moving into a new foreign environment, that our family is now finally fully settled into life here in Israel. We are uniquely a part of the fabric of life here and have been welcomed with open arms by nearly every Israeli Abba sends across our paths. One unique area of pioneering I have been working diligently on is how to dovetail the counter-terrorism anointing He has given us to work in sync with the natural security forces here on the ground in our combat to stop the serial murders. Obviously quite a large miracle was needed when one thinks of how critical this security area is for an outsider to be welcomed into. But, lo and behold, before I could even get the vision fully processed, within a few days sudden doors of supernatural favor opened up for me to learn and take part in stealth security training with several special units. The long nights and hard physical training has paid off the last seven months and not only resulted in me losing almost 20 pounds, but also witnessing great tactical victories against the serial killers! I have also gained a much greater appreciation of how difficult it is for the young men and women in these special units who are courageously grinding out these special ops on a nightly basis. This is the without a doubt the epicenter front lines of the most intense spiritual warfare against the Western values of our Judeo-Christian heritage! And we have found ourselves suddenly right in the middle of it all! Glory to God!!!

A few months ago, I was invited to a ceremony at one of the key Sayeret Tzanhanim (Paratrooper Reconnaissance Unit) bases for a meeting with its commander. One of the first things I noticed while there was the dilapidated state of their current exercise/weight room and how the special units were having to do mission specific training of certain muscle group memory without the proper equipment! Seeing this tremendous need and hearing the Holy Spirit green light of the inner witness to do it, I took the initiative upon myself to inform the commander that the friends of Rivers in the Desert would donate the money to build out this dilapidated room into a modern exercise room for their mission specific night operations against terror! He was astounded…as was the rest of the officers and the photos below show the current build out.

They really need this room finished soon and I’m asking for your help to give financially and complete this project. The amount needed now is $26,190.00 and this will finish out the construction phase and allow us to move in all the new exercise equipment! We will then be having a dedication ceremony and we are having a plaque made to hang in this room that will say in Hebrew and English, “Blessed be The Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.” (Psalm 144). Glory to God! The officers love it and feel that it centrally describes their mission statement for Israel’s secure future.

The second new project is in the North along the volatile mountainous border. Here we are doing some wonderful projects with the commander of the special Alpine unit whose main responsibility is to protect the snowy mountainous areas of Israel that border Syria and Lebanon. The current project entails purchasing for entire unit special sweaters before the upcoming winter arrives and various small personal items to make life more bearable as they spend the nights in severe inclement weather. The current budget that needs to be completed is $12,353.00 and I have just been informed that the factory is ready to deliver the order and now needs to be paid. So your speedy generosity is greatly appreciated!

Dear friends and partners, the vision of coming to Israel and bringing to the forefront the anointing Abba has given to us to do special tactical operations against Islamic terror and governmental corruption is now being realized on a scale that is blowing our minds. At this time I can only pull back the curtain ever so slightly to give you a peek into what we are doing here due to the security situation. The glory of God is upon these tactical missions He has supernaturally opened for us to do and there are those here in the IDF who fully understand the power of the shofar and how it is needed for the very dangerous times ahead for this small nation. Let us do our part to help and comfort them while we have this opportunity. Dig deeply into your heart of hearts and obey that holy nudge to give hilariously into these two projects. It is so fertile soil for your love gifts into supporting Israel and time is so short.

Mobility - The Missing Key to Your Breakthrough!

Shalom Victorious Fellow Warriors,

Awhile back, I had the great privilege to talk to a Colonel in the Unites States Army who had been behind the scenes reading our emails and following our video footage of our counter-terrorism operations since Jan. 2006. How we were introduced to this Colonel was in sync to our earlier spontaneous meetings with the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in which we were able to share privately with her the dream Dalit had of the location of where Bin Laden is in the Middle East. This Colonel called us next and briefed us to what his current mission entailed…and that was to track and capture Bin Laden! He was leaving that next day for Afghanistan, yet before he left we spent three hours on the phone discussing our ministry, the dreams, and the unique anointing for counter-terrorism operations. It was a Divine connection if there ever was one and we were awed at the timing of these events.

CONFLICT RESOLUTIONS: Are You Overcoming this First-Strike Capability of the Enemy?

*PROPHETIC WARNING*

A couple years ago while ministering in Atlanta, GA. I was taken up in the Spirit of God and saw a major offensive being planned against the Body of Messiah from deep within the enemy’s camp. It looked like a storm or squall line of dark clouds suddenly rolling in like you would experience in the Summer months on the plains of Oklahoma. The next thing I saw was many believers going about their daily activities totally unaware that this attack was about to hit and that they would also not understand even where this attack was coming from until it was too late and that the damage was done.

Let me first begin by pointing out that the absolute perfect atmospheric “still” zone to hear from God is none other than to spend extended time in the southern desert regions of Israel. This wasteland testing zone of faith, that also provided the backgrounds for the narratives of redemptive history, is also still very relevant for today and I believe is a prerequisite for all believers who want to fully grasp the apocalyptic readings of the Scriptures concerning these last days. The harshness of this desert climate and the secretive landscapes it harbors, affords the thirsty seeker the unique ability to not only see the supernatural provisions of God in a isolated wasteland, but also experience the robust character refinement process of conforming to the Desert Shepherd Warrior pattern of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah! This is a stout discipline of stealth fellowship with Abba that is so secretive that even the enemy is unaware of what is really happing in and around you…as you discover His new aquifers of nearness!

In a past email update to you we attempted to uncover a secret discipline of the faith walk that has been used by God throughout the pages of Scriptural history (The Discipline of Stealth 03/31/08). I have coined this tactic as “The Discipline of Stealth” to help introduce you to a very successful asymmetrical tactic for spiritual warfare and hostage rescue (i.e. soul winning). This discipline is the heart of all that is miraculous and supernatural in fulfilling of the Great Commission and is the most exciting aspect of the faith walk this side of Heaven.

It is during this time of unprecedented moral decay that there is arising a new breed of champions that was foretold of thousands of years ago in the ancient parchments of the Holy Scriptures. This new breed is not being sent by the agency of man, but exclusively by the mysterious broodings of God’s Spirit from the secret place of intimacy.
